Background

Built in South Florida.

Peter earned a BBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. After six years of accounting and tax work, he continued the education and professional process required to pursue public accounting.

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation records Peter D. Rudolph’s original individual CPA licensure date as November 19, 1997. The department also identifies him with the licensed accounting firm operating under the Safe Harbor Accounting name.

Today, Peter works with individuals, families, self-employed taxpayers, and business owners who need their tax filings, accounting records, and financial decisions considered together—not as disconnected assignments.

01

Credentials you can verify.

Florida’s official licensing records list Peter D. Rudolph as a current, active Certified Public Accountant under license AC0030738. Safe Harbor Accounting is the registered DBA of CPA South Florida, PA, a current Florida CPA firm under license AD0016721.

Licensing status can change over time. You can confirm the current individual and firm records directly through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

02

Experience connected across services.

Peter’s work spans personal and business tax preparation, year-round tax planning, IRS notices and representation, small-business accounting, bookkeeping oversight, QuickBooks consulting, cash-flow questions, and financial-management support.

That range matters when one decision crosses several areas. A new business, for example, may involve entity taxation, payroll, bookkeeping, owner payments, estimated taxes, and cash planning at the same time. The goal is to identify those connections early and define which matters belong with a CPA, attorney, investment adviser, lender, or another specialist.

03

A practical professional approach.

Peter begins with the facts: the decision or notice in front of the client, the applicable dates, the prior filings, and the records that support the numbers. He then explains what is known, what remains unanswered, and which next steps deserve priority.

Clients should understand both the recommendation and its limits. Tax projections depend on assumptions. Financial reports depend on reliable books. IRS matters depend on the notice, tax period, procedural posture, and available evidence. Clear scope and careful documentation keep the work grounded.

04

Professional review of site guidance.

Peter provides professional review for Safe Harbor Accounting’s educational tax and accounting content. The guides identify their review date, distinguish general education from individualized advice, and connect readers to relevant government or product documentation.

Because tax rules, administrative procedures, and software change, readers should confirm current requirements and discuss material decisions using their own records and circumstances.

“Our clients are not an interruption to our work. They are the purpose of it.”
